Four-Year Degree Plans

The undergraduate psychology degree can be completed in four years or a total of eight semesters. However, a four-year degree plan does not take into account dual credit or transfer credit that a student may bring with him or her upon admission to the University.

Check out the course rotation before scheduling your classes.

Four-year options

The department of psychology offers two options for achieving a major in psychology in four years:

Minor of choice  (15-24 hours)

Both the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Psychology are non-comprehensive degree options, which require that you complete a minor. Minors that complement the psychology degree program include the following:

  • Biomedical Sciences
  • Business
  • Communication
  • Criminology
  • Religion
  • Sociology

Please note that prerequisite offerings are dependent on faculty availability. Check with your advisor for details on course offerings.
