B.A., 1976 Harris Teachers College; M.A., 1978; Ph.D. University of Missouri-St. Louis, 1986.

Undergraduate teaching:

Introductory Psychology; Experimental Design; Industrial/Organizational Psychology; Human Engineering.

Graduate teaching:

Training and Development; Occupational Health; Human Factors and Ergonomics; Internship Thesis Supervision.

Research:

Work health and quality of life issues; application of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); Application of goal setting; Risk perception and risk taking; consumer product safety (warnings); safety perceptions.

Interests:

Applied issues involved in design of work tasks or environments; safety, cumulative trauma, and risk perception; design issues with special populations (young, aging or disabled populations); ADA; affirmative action; backpacking; and tennis.
